Director and founder of the indigenous radio La Voz de la Sierra Norte (XECTZ) in Cuetzalan, in the Sierra Norte of Puebla. Creates radio production centers and a network of community correspondents, as well as bilingual radio producers for the indigenous organisations and communities (1992-1997). Working with an ONG in CHiapas with Guatemaltecos refugees (1997-2000) Profesor in the International Women University in Hamburg, Germany (2000).   • 31 november 2008: participation to a symposium in Montreal for the 25th anniversary of AMARC
  • August 2008 : participation to a conference linked with the 25th anniversary of AMARC, jointly with the VIIth international conference of the OurMedia Network, in ACCRA, Ghana
  • 21 april 2008: Aleida Calleja is accused by a Mexican civil servant, Juan de Dios Castro Lozano, of being an “ennemy of the State”, during a meeting with 11 international organisations about freedom of expression and the press 1)
  • January 21, 2007: participation to the World Social Forum (Nairobi, Kenia). Seminar on Human Rights standards at the global and local levels2)
